1. How long does processing take?

All La Wig Maison wigs are made to order and carefully customised for you.

Please allow 10–15 working days for your wig to be completed before dispatch.

Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive your tracking information by email.

2. How long does delivery take?

UK delivery: Approximately 2–4 working days after dispatch.

International delivery: Delivery times vary depending on your location and courier service. International orders may also be subject to customs processing.

Please note that our 10–15 working day processing time is separate from delivery time.

3. What does “glueless” mean?

A glueless wig is designed to be worn securely without glue, adhesive or spray to keep the wig in place.

Our wigs are constructed for a secure and comfortable fit and include an adjustable elastic band for added security.

No glue. No spray. No stress.

This makes them ideal for beginners and busy women who want an easy, everyday install without having to glue down their lace.

4. Will my glueless wig still look natural without glue?

Yes. Each wig is customised with a carefully finished hairline and lace to create a natural appearance without requiring adhesive for everyday wear.

The correct fit is important, so please make sure you provide accurate head measurements when ordering.

5. Are your wigs beginner-friendly?

Yes. Our wigs are designed to make getting ready as simple as possible, even if you have little or no experience installing wigs.

Your wig arrives customised and ready to wear, so you don’t need to be a professional to achieve a polished look.

6. How do I choose my wig size?

When placing your order, simply select your usual Small, Medium or Large wig size.

After your order is placed, you’ll receive a complimentary 15-minute virtual consultation, where we’ll guide you through taking your head measurements to ensure your wig is customised for a secure and comfortable fit.

We’ll arrange a date and time that works for you after your order has been placed.

Please make sure you provide your correct email address and contact details at checkout so we can contact you to arrange your consultation.

Not sure whether to choose Small, Medium or Large? Don’t worry — select the size you believe is closest, and we can confirm your measurements during your consultation before your wig is made.

7. Can I customise my wig?

Yes. Customisation options vary depending on the wig you choose and may include:

• Length
• Closure type
• Colour
• Styling options

8. What is the difference between a 2×6 and 5×5 /6x6 closure?

2×6 Closure

A 2×6 closure has a smaller lace area and is best suited to a defined parting, usually a middle part.

It is a great option if you want something simple, low-maintenance and more affordable.

5×5/ 6x6 HD Closure

A 5×5 closure provides a wider lace area, giving you more flexibility with your parting and styling.

It can be styled with a middle or side part and provides more room for creating a natural-looking hairline.

If you prefer more styling versatility, a 5×5 or 6x6 closure may be the better choice.

9. Do you accept returns or refunds?

Because our wigs are made to order and customised to your selected specifications, they are generally not eligible for change-of-mind returns or refunds.

If you receive the wrong item or believe your wig is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assess the issue and provide an appropriate resolution.

10. Can I cancel my order?

Because work on made-to-order wigs may begin shortly after an order is placed, cancellations are only accepted within the cancellation period stated in our policies.

Please check your wig selection, customisation options and measurements carefully before completing your purchase.

11. How do I care for my wig?

To keep your wig looking beautiful for longer:

• Wash using a moisturising shampoo and conditioner.
• Detangle gently, starting from the ends and working upwards.
• Avoid excessive heat.
• Always use a heat protectant before using heated styling tools.
• Avoid excessive amounts of heavy products.
• Store your wig properly when it is not being worn.

With proper care and maintenance, your wig can be enjoyed for a long time.

12. Can I restyle my wig?

Yes. Our wigs can be restyled using appropriate heat tools.

We recommend always using a heat protectant and avoiding excessive temperatures to help maintain the quality and longevity of the hair.

13. Can I colour my wig?

This depends on the particular wig and hair used.

If you’re considering colouring or chemically processing your wig, we recommend contacting us first for advice.

Please note that colouring, bleaching or chemically processing your wig after delivery may affect the condition of the hair and is carried out at the customer’s own risk.

14. Do you offer wig services?

Yes. La Wig Maison offers selected wig services, including wig revamps and wig reconstruction/re-wigging.

The service required and price will depend on the condition of your wig.
